Now messages in the Inbox marked as “Spam” are moved to the Spam folder however, messages in the Spam Folder marked as “Good” remain in the Spam Folder. I removed disabled and redundant accounts, which fixed half the problem. The workaround is to either rename or delete the inactive account so that all of your accounts then have unique names. Nowadays, almost all email clients have their own filters to. However, I think it would probably be a good idea to add these emails to SpamSieve’s corpus, then move them to the trash. In the past, I’ve written a rule in Apple Mail to immediately move such emails to the trash.
